I handle your project directly, from the first scope discussion through the agreed build and handover. If specialist input is needed, I will discuss it with you before including it in the scope.

Questions customers ask

Do I need a website or an application?

A website explains and attracts. An application supports repeated tasks such as sign-in, records, approvals or customer self-service. Start with the workflow and the people using it before choosing a platform.

How do you scope a first release?

I identify the main user roles, the core task, the data needed and the integrations involved. The first release should solve a useful problem with a manageable scope. Optional features can follow after feedback.

What should handover include?

The proposal should identify source code ownership, hosting access, documentation, backups, training and support responsibilities. Those details should be agreed before the build starts.
