A title, photograph and price may be insufficient when size, compatibility, condition or delivery changes the decision.

Describe the actual item

Include the relevant specifications, options, dimensions and contents. Explain whether photographs show the precise item or a representative example. Do not use stock imagery to imply an included feature or a condition you have not verified.

For a laptop, useful details could include the model, processor, memory, storage, condition and included accessories. For a handmade item, dimensions, material and variation may matter more. Choose details according to the customer's decision.

Make the next step explicit

State whether the customer is paying online or requesting availability and a quote. Keep the button label consistent with that action. Explain delivery or collection arrangements and where the customer can ask a question.

Any return, warranty or guarantee statement should reflect the business's actual policy and applicable obligations. Avoid copying a competitor's promise into the page without being able to honour it.

Check the page as an order journey

Try the options and quantity controls, inspect the resulting total and verify the destination of the main button. On a phone, confirm that key information remains readable and product images do not make the page unnecessarily slow.

Use original photographs where possible and provide descriptive alternative text. Keep important specifications in text rather than only inside a picture.

Explore my ecommerce service, store page and selected work, or describe your catalogue.
